Awesome work! I've had some ideas for crystal chambers/chassis floating in my addled tinkerer's mind for awhile but I haven't actually made any for use in an actual hilt. Did you use sheet steel/aluminum and make the ribs from scratch with lathe work to make them fit, or did you use flat washers and modify them? Whatever your method, it does the trick. Thanks for sharing your work with the community. ;^]
